This Privacy Notice explains how CityReport.io, a platform owned and operated by CRAKD LLC, collects, uses, shares, and retains personal information when you use our public site and reporting workflows.

1. Data We Collect

2. How We Use Data

Provide and operate reporting workflows.
Act as an intermediary reporting platform between you and the municipality, utility, or other responsible entity handling the issue.
Route or forward report details to responsible municipalities, utilities, or departments.
Support lifecycle tracking, moderation, and pilot accountability metrics.
Respond to demo requests and municipal lead inquiries.
Detect abuse, enforce rate limits, and protect platform security.
Comply with legal obligations and maintain auditability.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Depending on your location and applicable law, we process data under one or more of these bases:

Consent (for specific submissions and communications).
Performance of a contract or pre-contract steps.
Legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the platform.
Compliance with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Data

We share data only as needed for CRAKD LLC to operate CityReport.io and support municipal workflows:

Responsible entities: municipalities, utilities, and related departments for report handling, follow-up, validation, scheduling, or status updates related to the issue you submitted.
Supabase: data storage, authentication, and core backend infrastructure.
Google Maps APIs: map display and geospatial functionality.
Resend: outbound email delivery for reports and lead notifications.

Depending on the workflow, the shared data may include your name, email, phone number, report details, location information, and supporting media when those fields are provided through the platform.

We do not sell personal information for monetary value.

5. Retention

We retain information according to operational need, accountability requirements, and applicable law. Current retention targets are:

Lead records: up to 24 months after last meaningful contact.
Report records and lifecycle history: typically up to 36 months for pilot accountability and audit support.
Uploaded media: retained with associated report records.
Anti-abuse metadata: typically up to 12 months.

We may retain data longer where required by law, contractual commitments, dispute resolution, or security investigations.

6. Your Rights

Subject to local law, you may request to:

Access the personal information we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data.
Delete data where deletion rights apply.
Receive a portable copy of data, where applicable.
Object to or limit certain processing in specific circumstances.

7. Data Transfers

CRAKD LLC, CityReport.io, and their service providers may process data in the United States or other countries where they operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational controls designed for a municipal reporting platform, including access controls and anti-abuse protections. No system can be guaranteed fully secure.

9. Children

CityReport.io is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Notice

We may revise this Privacy Notice from time to time. Updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
